Hi Everyone,

Our Ballet Master Class Event with Sean Kelly and the boys of Billy Elliot is firing up and we are looking forward to an unforgettable evening. Due to demand from some younger less advanced students and some concerns that the older class may or may not be appropriate challenge level for those dancers we have decided to go forward with the following plan for the evening. Dress Code

There is no strict dress code for our event. Appropriate ballet class attire would be recommended and Mr. Kelly has mentioned that if dancers have Jazz experience they may like to bring those shoes as well. Girls are also encouraged to bring skirts incase the choreography calls for some movement!

Class Descriptions

Class I, 6:00PM-7:00P $35
Designed for ages 8-12 and less experienced dancers of all ages Mr. Kelly is also inviting ALL of the older more experienced dancers to attend this class and use it as a nice warm-up. It will start with a Broadway show style warm up and cover some classical fundamentals and fun choreography. This way some of the younger students can decide for themselves if this class is an appropriate challenge level, and if they feel they'd like to stay for Class II they are more than welcome. Dancers will only have to pay for their appropriate class.

Class II, 7:00-9:00PM $60 (dancers invited to join the previous Class I as a warm-up, no extra charge)

Designed for ages 13-adult and advanced ballet dancers. Mr. Kelly will present classically based elements of barre, centre and traveling and move on to some exciting choreography.

Viewing

Mr. Kelly will teach an open door class and is very welcoming to any parents that might like to view. There will be no charge for viewing but all patrons are asked to be extremely quiet and respectful as not to distract the dancers. There are no pictures or video permitted during the class.
